UFC 90: Junior dos Santos vs. Fabricio Werdum – Full Fight (Video)

Considered a major underdog at the time, Junior dos Santos made his UFC debut at UFC 90 and stunned the world when he knocked out top contender Fabricio Werdum in just one minute and twenty-one seconds of the very first round, and earning himself a “Knockout of the Night” bonus in the process.

Just three years later, dos Santos would go on to defeat the unbeaten Cain Velasquez to claim the UFC heavyweight title, after blazing through the heavyweight division, claiming the scalps of big named opponents like Shane Carwin, Roy Nelson, Gibert Yvel and Mirko Cro Cop.

Junior is rumoured to be defending his belt later this summer in a rematch with Cain Velasquez. But until then, check out the beginning of the UFC’s heavyweight champion’s career.
